One of the main objectives of an organization is to obtain the right number and kinds of people, at the right places and at the right time, who are capable of performing tasks that will help the organization in achieving its objectives.

Manpower planning is a strategy for: - 

(A) Procurement                    

(B) Development;

(C) Allocation                          

(D) Utilization of manpower resource of an  organization.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

The main objectives for undertaking this project are:

  1. To understand the internal Recruitment process in organization.
  2. To identify areas where there can be scope for improvement.
  3. To give suitable recommendation to streamline the hiring process.
  4. To develop practical knowledge with theoretical aspects.
  5. To know about the importance of recruitment and selection
  6. To find out better process of recruitment.
  7. To know about the role of recruiter.

   4. SCOPE OF THE STUDY

The scope of my study is confined to company only to know how recruitment & selection helps in providing the potential employees/candidates to the organization.       

Recruitment & Selection includes information related to the way of obtaining the potential candidates i.e. the way of elimination or rejection procedure.

  1. To analyze the present system and recommendations necessary.
  2. Identification of the development needs.
  3. To explore the possible area of defects to determine decisions regarding Change in procedure.                  
  4. To study aims to provide guidelines for corrective measures to be taken.
  5. Overall the study evaluates various factors which affect recruitment Procedure.

 5. LIMITATIONS

There are be some error in selection of employees due to non-availability of the employees at the working site of some personnel reasons and also because of company’s privacy; we were not allowed to get in touch with them

Due to personnel biases and other reasons, the employees has expressed other views, which can affect the analysis and other facts

  • Less availability of time and money for the research work.
  • Less expertise or skills in the researcher.
  • Lack of Scientific training in the methodology of researcher.
  • Difficulty of timely and adequate secretarial assistance.
  • Difficulty of timely published data.
