AT ASHOK LEYLAND



The topic is regarding “Employees perception on Effectiveness of Safety Measures and Work environment” undertaken at Ashok Leyland Limited, for measure how far the Employees are satisfied with the safety measures and work environment followed in the organization.

 

The research design used in the study is descriptive in nature. The researcher has made use of both primary and secondary data. Research instrument used is structured questionnaire with open and close-ended questions and Personal interview with the employees. The sample size is 157 and the sample method used is “Stratified disproportionate sampling”.

 

The main factors used in the questionnaire are safety training programme, safety equipments, work environmental factors etc.

The statistical tools used were

  • Percentage method
  • Chi-Square Test
  • Weighted Average Method.

Based up on the findings suitable suggestions were recommended to the organization.
